    table=self.dlg.comboBox.currentText()
    table_name = table.strip(' ' ' ') 
    sql_insert = """INSERT INTO %(table_name)s (x) VALUES(%s);""" 
      cursor.execute(sql_insert,[value])         
      connection.commit()
