我正在将数据上传到服务器，我希望当我单击上传按钮时，活动指示器应该在数据上传后启动和停止。

这就是我上传数据但活动指示器不起作用的方式。

                [alert addSubview:indicator];

使用此行关闭指示器：

[alert dismissWithClickedButtonIndex:0 animated:YES];

你 100% 确定 activityView 不是 nil 吗？我没有看到你将它设置为任何东西的任何地方。此外，即使它不是 nil，你有没有将它添加到视图中？activityView 只是一个普通的 UIView，它不会自动出现在 UIWindows 中。
