You just call setVisible(true). But the default JFrame width and height is zero. It will not expand the JFrame.

Try to set the size of JFrame. there are two ways:

PunchFrame2 frame = new PunchFrame2();
  1. frame.pack(); // or

  2. frame.setSize(300,300);

    frame.setVisible(true);
