[[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] postNotificationName: NOTIFICATION_NAME object: myString];

        if(isComingFromHowToUseThisApp) {
        [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] postNotificationName:@"noteFromVideoPlayer"
                                                            object:@"fromHowToUseThisApp"];
    }else {
        [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] postNotificationName:@"noteFromVideoPlayer"

Receive your notification like this:
