发生错误是因为您的计算机上未安装 FOX 工具包。FXRuby 是 FOX 图形工具包的 Ruby 接口，因此需要首先在机器上安装 FOX。对于 Mac OS X 执行

brew install fox

这将安装依赖项：

libpng, freetype, jpeg, libtiff

然后安装 fxruby gem

gem install fxruby
