好的，所以我对其他解决方案持开放态度，但如果其他人遇到这个问题，这对我有用。

我从 sourceforge ( https://sourceforge.net/projects/samtools/ ) 下载了该软件包，并将其编译为自述文件状态。我没有从我路径中的 anaconda 包中运行 samtools，而是将这个新编译的文件移到了感兴趣的文件夹中。我从那里调用它如下：

cd users/me/desktop/example  (where samtools executable lives in this folder)

./samtools etc etc

我知道这对许多人来说是基本的，但对我来说不是，我希望它对将来遇到这个问题的其他人有所帮助
