最后，我能够让服务器在我的新实例上运行。我缺少的是 mysql 也有许多配置选项，这些选项会随着时间的推移而改变，它们也依赖于 EC2 实例配置。

就我而言，我的新实例的 RAM 非常有限，并且 mysql.cnf 文件试图分配比机器更多的 RAM，因此它失败了。不知何故，

journalctl -xe

给出了一个不同的错误，这迫使我朝错误的方向思考。我应该查看 mysql 日志文件，该文件很快将我指出正确的问题。

因此 mysql 无法启动，因为系统中不存在请求的内存量。我注释了 my.cnf 文件中的所有内存分配行（依赖于默认设置），然后它就起作用了。
