c# - SQL Server CE Database in Console Application

Question

Is it possible to use a SQL Server Compact database (the same type of database that you use with WebMatrix-based websites) in a C# Windows console application?

I'm really getting annoyed with XML (and JSON) files and don't really like the other database solutions (as it's just a bit much for what is really just a simple project).

I've spent hours searching but all I can find are references to website stuff (which obviously is not relevant).
