自乘客 2.0 以来，它没有遵循 DocumentRoot 的符号链接，乘客检测其 ruby​​ on rails 应用程序是否正在寻找目录config.ru后面的一级的方式DocumentRoot。假设DocumentRoot是/var/www/public，它将搜索/var/www一个config.ru文件。但是，如果 www 是指向另一个位置的符号链接，假设/var/www -> /home/ruby/my_app/public它不会跟随符号链接，因此将无法找到文件并且不会处理请求。
