您不能有Photo两个名为 的模型关联:user。您还缺少:gallery在 has-many-through 中引用的关联。首先，在:gallery声明其他关联之前添加关联：

class Photo < ActiveRecord::Base
  attr_accessible ... # your list of attributes
  belongs_to :gallery
  ...

然后改变：

has_many :user, :through => :gallery

至：

has_many :gallery_users, :through => :gallery, :source => :user
