  first you have set IBOutlet connection date label

NSDate *currentDate = [NSDate date];
NSDateFormatter *dateFormat = [[NSDateFormatter alloc] init];
[dateFormat setDateFormat:@"MM  YYYY"];
date.text = [dateFormat stringFromDate:currentDate]
