因此，我遇到的问题似乎与:boro, :boro_id可访问的属性和我更新该属性的方式有关。

一旦我摆脱了:boro我的attr_accessible清单：

attr_accessible :name, :listing_ids, :boro_id

一旦我改变了它，并且没有尝试使用update_attributes（我也在这样做），那么上面的代码就可以正常工作了。
