从我读过的内容来看，python-twitter：

依赖于 Twitter 在 2010 年 8 月至 9 月之间关闭的 Basic-Auth。API 只支持 OAuth，python-twitter 不支持。

更新：我刚刚尝试使用与您使用的完全相同的方法安装 python-twitter，但我也无法导入它。在做了一些研究之后，我遇到了Python Twitter Tools，我相信它是 python-twitter 的替代品。

安装twitter需要安装工具。这只是easy_install twitter从网络上安装它。
