I am modifying a profile for Outlook 2007 and higher. According to this post by Stephen Griffin, Outlook will do so automatically the first time the profile connects to the Exchange server. I need to do this (add pbExchangeProviderPublicGuid) to a profile that has already been connected in the past. HrDispatchNotifications does not work, and neither does opening Outlook because the Exchange server has already been configured.
I assume this process is very similar to adding Additional Mailboxes as shown here. So, how do I achieve what Outlook does the first time?
1. ExchangeManageStore:: GetPublicFolderTable (like MFCMapi::DisplayPublicFolderTable)
2. GetProps
3. CreateProvider(what type??) or do I call CreateStoreEntryID?
