I'm new to android and am having a problem with the UI. Specifically, I have placed an image on the screen with dimensions 767x441. The resolution of the tablet I'm using is 800x480. When I view the image in the WYSIWYG editor it looks correct but when I view it on the physical device it is only about half the size!
I've attached two screen shots to show what I am talking about.
My layout config is: sw480dp, w800dp, h480dp, Normal Screen, Short screen aspect ratio, Landscape Orientation, Medium Density
My resource files are in the drawable-mdpi directory and I have the manifest targetSDK set to 11. I've been trying a lot of things but don't know what I'm missing.
