有趣的是,MySQL 建立连接的速度更快。在 PHP 这样的环境中,连接的建立和拆除速度非常快,而不是在 Rails 或 JVM 等应用程序环境中运行时间更长的连接。

在这种情况下,为 Postgres 使用连接池可能是有意义的。想到两个:

我对 PostgreSQL 了解不多,但我可以告诉你为什么 MySQL 对这个特定的查询速度很快。

对于 InnoDB,主键索引是聚集索引,这意味着页面以与主键相同的物理顺序存储。

最后,当您请求时ORDER BY DESC,MySQL 只是反向读取索引,因此性能与 ASC 相同。
